About the Project
The next phase of development for the SkyDev Phase 1 Barrie LP development, is to build two rental apartment towers (“Tower A and B”) on land fronting Grove Street West in Barrie. As the City of Barrie is experiencing tremendous demand for rental housing, we believe this is an optimal time to deliver much-needed rental units that should achieve strong rent and absorption.
The proposed development consists of 541 rental apartment suites with an indoor/outdoor central rooftop amenity space overlooking Lake Simcoe. The project has an anticipated construction completion timeline of 5 years 3 months and a targeted IRR of 20%1.
